Healthy Hydration Smoothie for Summer

This hydration smoothie recipe is a perfect way to help your dad enjoy Father’s Day or just something new to drink when you’re ready to cool off this summer! Follow these instructions to create a pineapple mango smoothie that is sure to impress.


Ingredients


  • ½ cup frozen mango chunks, do not thaw
  • 1 cup undrained crushed pineapples
  • ½ cup lowfat or nonfat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 medium ripe banana, sliced
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • ¼ crushed ice
  • 1 packet of Banana Bag Oral Solution
  • 1 Tbsp flax seeds (optional)

Directions


This concoction is pretty easy once you get all the ingredients together. Simply pre-slice your fruit. Place the mangos in the freezer until solid (this part might require you to plan ahead at least one full day). When ready to begin, make sure you have all the ingredients alongside your blender and favorite cup. 


Remember, some liquid is helpful, but the coconut milk might be enough. If the smoothie is too thick, we recommend adding in a few ounces of water to help the Banana Bag Oral Solution dissolve. Also, if you are serving multiple people, and really want the benefits of BBOS, consider adding multiple packets to your blender.
